Carolyn Ann Welschmeyer

Carolyn Ann Welschmeyer, 75, of Jefferson City, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the University of Missouri Hospital. She was born on August 8, 1949, in Jefferson City, Missouri, to the late Joseph Bosch Sr. and Lorraine (Schulte) Bosch.
Carolyn proudly served her country in the United States Marine Corps, exemplifying her dedication and strength. She graduated from Helias High School and went on to earn an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Lincoln University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Hannibal-LaGrange University. Carolyn worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years at Capital Region Hospital, providing compassionate care to countless patients throughout her career.
Her faith played a central role in her life, and she was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church. Carolyn was passionate about a variety of hobbies, including reading, puzzling, and dancing. She also enjoyed the simple pleasure of a cold Pepsi Zero.
Carolyn is survived by two sons, Ted Welschmeyer II (Vickie) of Tebbetts, and Aaron Welschmeyer of Tebbetts; her two brothers, Dennis Bosch (Ann) of Independence, and Chris Bosch (Barb) of Jefferson City; her sister, Jeanie Boeckman (Michael) of Austin, Texas; her sister-in-law, Kathy Bosch of Wentzville; her four grandchildren, Theodore Welschmeyer III (Kirsten), Kacy Wohletz, Caitlyn Leason (Cole), and Zane Wolfe; and her great-granddaughter, Mira.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Stacy Bosch; her sisters, Sandra Amend, Betty Nilges (Ray), Michele "Mickie" Bosch, and Susan Bosch; and her brother Joseph Bosch Jr.
Friends and family will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors in Jefferson City, Missouri. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Matthew Flatley as celebrant. Burial will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Wounded Warriors.
