Carson Lee Walter, Sr., 60, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at his home. Born February 17, 1964 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Melvin Lee Walter, Jr. and Rose Irene Grammer Walter.

Carson was employed as an auto mechanic at his family’s business, Lee Automotive and later Route 30 Auto Repair. He loved working on cars, trucks and motorcycles, Rock & Roll music and attending rock concerts. He also enjoyed watching westerns and police dramas and taking care of his cats.

He is survived by two children, Jennifer Lee Kerlin (Chad) of Ft. Littleton, and Carson Lee “C.J.” Walter, Jr. (Vivian Hess) of Upper Strasburg; four grandchildren, Ashlin, Wayne, Ella and Emory; one great grandchild, Theodore; and four siblings, Margie Kendall, Ann Walter, Melvin “Buzzy” Walter III (Tammy Forrester), and Sandra “Putsy” Smith.

Services and interment are private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities at catholiccharitiesusa.org. Condolences and memories may be shared at geiselfuneralhome.com.
