Carter was a 2019 graduate of Wabash High School and attended Vincennes University. He worked for MJV at Ford Meter Box in Wabash. Carter was a member of Wabash Christian Church. He was an avid Ohio State fan. Carter enjoyed going to the movies with his mother, especially to get his popcorn. He also enjoyed gaming and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother, Leslie Diane Morningstar of Wabash, brother, Chris (Natalie) Reid of Lebanon, Indiana, three nephews, Xander Barr, Liam Barr, and Eli Reid all of Lebanon, niece, Charlotte Reid of Lebanon, grandmother, Sunny Neil of Wabash, aunt and uncles; Jodi (Rich) Getz of Wabash, John (Melissa) Neil of Mt. Olive, Alabama, Kevin Neil of Cincinnati, Ohio, David (Audrey) Neil of Decatur, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, and grandparents, John and Marcia Morningstar, and John Neil.
A gathering of family and friends for Carter will be 2:00 - 5:00 pm, Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash.
Preferred memorial is Glioblastoma Foundation.
