Casey Scott Linkous, 31, of Christiansburg, passed suddenly on, April 7, 2023. Casey was born on July 14, 1991, He graduated from Christiansburg High School, and worked as a caregiver at Neuro Restorative and Caregiver Placement, LLC. He was a member of New Life Harvest, in Radford. He was preceded in death by his grandfather/ adopted father, Arnold Linkous and grandfather, Chuck Slate.
Casey had a wonderful relationship with all his family and friends, and he had a big heart. He loved his grandmothers, Carolyn Slate and Beverly Patrick, and special aunt and uncle, Richard and Jamie Rickers. He was very smart, loved computers, and gaming with family. We will miss his beautiful, infectious smile. Casey cared for his grandfather/ father when he was ill and was so helpful to everyone. Casey would do anything asked of him, without reservation.
Left to cherish his memory are, his grandmother/ adopted mother, Edith Linkous; biological father, Phillip Linkous "Deby"; siblings, Brady Linkous, and Kayla Linkous; biological mother, Cherie Slate; siblings, Samantha Main, Brandon Harrison, Maranda Viars, and Melissa McCarty; aunts, Marsha Linkous, and Marla Fonseca (Rene Jr); uncle, Mark Linkous; cousins, Wesley Graham, Craig Hall, Matthew Fonseca (Kate), Ben Linkous, Jacob Linkous, and Kaitlyn Everheart.
Memorial service will be conducted, Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 4:00 PM at New Life Harvest Church in Radford, Va., with Rev. Davie Whitlock, officiating.
