Casey Renee Whitlock, 50, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 12, 2025.
She was born in Richmond, Kentucky, on December 16, 1974 and was a graduate of Newport High School. Casey was a long time employee of Galls, LLC, in Lexington where she worked as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Casey was a people person who loved anyone and everyone and never met a stranger. She enjoyed collecting anything with elephants and chefs – Christmas was her favorite holiday and she liked gift wrapping so much it would not be a surprise to find she had wrapped even the pictures hanging on the walls around the house.
Family was what she cherished the most – Casey treasured being a mom, and if you talked with her very long you would know that Stacey was her pride and joy and she was so very excited when recently she welcomed her first grandson, Xander.
She is survived by: her daughter, Stacey McCoy (Matthew); her mother and dad, Angela Curtis & George Gaffin; her special friend and partner, Tommy Newton; her grandson, Xander McCoy; her long time best friend who was like a sister, Tiffany Callahan, and her children who Casey thought of as nieces & nephews, Gabrielle Wagers, Joshlynn Callahan, River Callahan, Hunter Wagers, Kyndon Goodwin, and Kolten Callahan; as well as a host of other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Douglas "Bobby" Whitlock, Jr.
Memorial services will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, at the funeral home.
