Cassandra "Cass" Lee Adams, 34, of Newport, KY, passed away on May 14, 2025. Born November 2, 1990, in Madison, IN, Cass brought light, laughter, and a sense of freedom to all who knew her. The beloved daughter of Joyce Gauthier and her "Pops," James Coleman, Cass had a vibrant personality and an undeniable love for people, animals, and the little moments that make life special. A true free spirit, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family, sharing joy through social media, and showering love on the children and animals around her - especially her two cherished cats, whom she considered her children. Cass's big heart and larger-than-life spirit will be missed deeply by those who were lucky enough to know her. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Mary Jane Abbott, whose memories she held close. She is survived by her husband, Ridge Adams; her parents; her many siblings - Jeremy Mercer, Austin Mercer, Andrew Mercer, Anthony Patrick, Jimmy Coleman Jr., Steve Coleman, Terry Gauthier, Maurice Gauthier, Samantha Beach, Allison, Samantha Proctor, Kelly Coleman, and Lillian Coleman - niece – Khiara - and countless friends who became family. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M. at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared on Facebook or at SerenityFuneralCare.com. Cass will be remembered for her warmth, her spirit, and the way she made everyone around her feel at home.
