George David Ginn Jr.

George David Ginn, Jr., age 84, of Crestview Hills, KY, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Born on September 20, 1941, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the beloved son of the late Catherine and George Ginn, Sr. A dedicated educator and mentor, George spent 38 years as a guidance counselor with La Salle High School, where he touched the lives of countless students and families with his wisdom, patience, and unwavering commitment to helping others find their path. Outside of his professional life, George was a passionate fan of Xavier Basketball and Purdue Football. George himself was a proud 1963 graduate of Purdue University where he lettered in Football. He and Sue also enjoyed travelling and spent their retirement years going to new and exciting places, including his happy place of St. Marteen, NA. George cherished time spent with family above all else-his greatest joy came from being a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. George is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sue Ginn; his four sons: G. David (Heather) Ginn III, Michael (Susan) Ginn, Marc (Reeda) Ginn, and Marty (Melissa) Ginn; his brother, William (Mary) Ginn; and his sister, Sandy Naber. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored and who will carry forward his legacy of love, strength, and kindness. Per the family's wishes, services will be held privately. George will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY.
