Born the daughter of the late Regis Dugan and the late Catherine (Tahaney) Dugan.
Beloved wife of Richard F. Bremer for 57 years.
Loving mother of Catherine Bremer of Columbus, OH, Amy (Brian) Makin of Scott Twp., and the late Richard "Mark" (surviving spouse, Deborah "Sharon") Bremer.
Cherished grandmother of Sean, Morgan, and Ryan Bremer, and Erin and Fae Makin.
Sister of Regis, John, Tom, Theresa, Kevin, and Michael Dugan.
Preceded in death by siblings; James Dugan, Mag Ference, and Elizabeth Yothers.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cathy was a 1961 graduate of Gateway High School. She worked as a unit clerk for over 20 years in West Penn Hospital before retiring. Cathy loved traveling both domestic, anywhere from Alaska to Florida, and internationally to Ireland. For many years, Cathy was a supporter for all law enforcement agencies. She also enjoyed going to the movies and knitting with her group of friends. Most of all, Cathy treasured the time spent raising her children and caring for her grandchildren, all of whom she loved wholeheartedly.
Friends are welcome Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday in St. Susanna Church of Christ the Devine Shepherd Parish at 10:00 a.m.
Cathy will be laid to rest in Good Shepherd Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear about Cathy. We worked together for years in the ICU. I know I drove her crazy when I was in charge but I so valued her as a peer and friend at work. I know she loved her family fiercely. I am praying for her and the family.
