Catherine (Cathy) Jewell McLamb Clark age 74 passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents John and Sarah McLamb and also three sisters. Cathy was a devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandma. She is and always has been special in a magnitude of ways. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. She was kind, caring, hospitable, sweet and always quietly helping others. She was a woman of strong faith and faithful servant in her church.
Cathy spent the majority of her life in Wilmington, NC and her later years in Gastonia, NC. She made friends anywhere she went. To know Cathy was to love her. Her kind demeanor and immense love of her family made her one of a kind. Her true servants heart always looked for ways to help others in need.
She loved to sit and listen to the birds from her back porch after enjoying her morning coffee and muffin. It brought her such joy to cook a favorite meal for family and was often beaming with pride at the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren.
Her deep love and devotion to family was only rivaled by her steadfast belief in the Gospel and Jesus Christ. She would spread the good news to anyone she could and rarely missed a church service. She confidently knew she was heading home to her Heavenly Father after her time on this Earth was complete.
Survivors include her husband Tommy, son Lee and Snow Clark of Tega Cay, South Carolina, son Michael and Sussie Clark of Wilmington North Carolina and daughter Christa McManus and Shawn of Gastonia NC. Grandchildren Brandon Clark and wife Laura, Eoin, Locke, Caleb, Kendall, Maeve Catherine and Great granddaughter Rosemary Catherine.
