A heart full of love, a life full of care.
Cathy Keller passed away peacefully on the morning of June 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. While her passing leaves a deep ache in our hearts, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband, Jerry, just two days before what would have been their 50th wedding anniversary. Their love, steady and true, lives on in the family they built and the memories they shared.
Born on October 3, 1955, in Moberly, Missouri, Cathy was the daughter of Anna Mae Forsyth and the late Issac Milton Forsyth. She grew up with her siblings-Danny Forsyth, Harold "Rex" Forsyth (deceased), and Gloria Menefee (deceased) who shared in her laughter, strength, and compassion.
Cathy was a devoted mother to four children: Eric, Jennifer, Allison, and Ryan. Her heart only grew as she welcomed nine cherished grandchildren-Dylan, Madison, Reagan, Blake, Nicholas, Alex, Lydia, Bella, and Elin-each one blessed to know the warmth of her embrace, the magic of her kitchen, and the love she poured into every moment.
Cathy found joy in life's simple pleasures-gardening, cooking, and caring for those around her. Her home was a place of comfort, filled with blooming flowers, delicious meals, and a quiet kind of grace. Her presence was steady, her love constant, and her legacy will live on in every garden she inspired, every recipe she passed down, and every life she touched.
Cathy's life was celebrated at a visitation held at the Cater Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Moberly, MO Committal prayer and burial took place at the Sunset Hills Cemetery, Madison, MO.
"Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
