Cathy Lee Reisinger

We regretfully announce the passing of Cathy Lee Reisinger, know to many as "Lippy", 66, of Carlisle.
Cathy passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Cathy was born to Carroll and Louella (Binger) Lippy on February 14, 1959 in New Oxford, PA.
An independent and vibrant personality from the beginning, Cathy graduated from New Oxford High School in 1977 then proceeded to become and independent trucker in a male dominated profession. Later becoming an instructor with MTA, then onto safety director at Trans Tech before retiring in 2012, to spend more time on gardening, love of her dogs; Tino, Louie and Libby, also establishing a wildlife sanctuary at her home in Carlisle.
Shortly after beginning her chosen career, Cathy met William in Hanover, PA and later married in 1986.
Cathy is survived by her husband, William H. Reisinger, step children; Amy Reisinger, Ben Reisinger, nieces, nephews and a brother, Westley Lippy. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Linda Hoke and Carol Jean Groft.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at The Wood's Edge section of Paxtang Cemetery, Harrisburg.
Cathy requests that flowers be brought to the graveside ceremony (hopefully homegrown), and be left at the site removing all non-biodegradable items.
