Cecil was born on March 7, 1929 to parents, Everett and Anna Jones in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. He was one of 6 children.
Cecil was founder and Chief of the Monkey Island Volunteer Fire Department and active member of the Elks Lodge. He was husband to wife, Vera for over 60 years before her death in 2018 and father to his children, Debbie and Greg.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Vera; daughter-in-law, Julia Jones; brothers, Richard, Leonard, and Vernie Jones; sisters, Nadine Birkes, and Leona Baker and great-granddaughter, Jennifer Jones.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Loehr and husband, Randy and son, Greg Jones; grandchildren, Kristin Hicks and husband, Corey and Kyle Jones and wife, Amber; Great-grandchildren, Brayden Steed, Kylie Jones, Brandon Jones and Kobey Hickes.
A graveside service will be held on November 9th at 10:00 AM at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma.
