Chad Askins
Chad Askins, 41, of Erie, PA, passed away on August 27, 2024. He was a beloved father, cherished by his family and friends, known for his vibrant spirit and unwavering support.
Chad was an incredible dad who dedicated his life to being a positive influence for his children. His love and commitment to his family were evident in everything he did. He took immense pride in being a father, always finding ways to create lasting memories and foster a loving environment.
In addition to his role as a devoted father, Chad was known for his joking around with friends and family and flipping them the bird. He had a passion for discovering new music, playing video games, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Canada Dry Ginger Ale, Orlando Magic, and his many pets.
Chad was proceeded in death by his grandparents Donna and Sonny Askins, his uncle Micheal Askins, his long-term father figure Larry Burnett, his father-in-law Chip Goodard, and many more.
Chad is survived by his mother, Becky Askins; long-time fiancée, Jen Goodard; his children, Leah Schneider (Jeremiah Schneider), Taylor Askins, Chad "CJ" Askins, and Riley Askins; his siblings, Nick Rodgers (Leah Snyder) and Wendy Rodgers (Nick Fluegel); his stepdad, Jerry Rodgers, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Askins Cremation Funeral Services, 8354 Wattsburg Road, Erie, PA 16509.

Chad's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

I´ll always remember the late night grillin and chillin sessions...first day we ever worked together we were instantly laughin´, knew I found a life long friend and brother in this wild world. Surely going to miss you!
