Chad Gray, age 39, of Louisville, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 23, 2024. Chad's life passions included spending time with his wife, children and family, bowling, playing basketball and "front porch sitting". Chad always had an immense love for animals. He spent alot of his time tending to his reptiles and sharing his passion with Ethan and Peyton. Over the years he gained many friends through the industry, many who are now family. He was very well known and loved throughout the reptile community.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy "MeMe" Gentry and grandfather, Bob Gentry.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Tiffany Gray; his beloved children, Ethan and Peyton; his mother, Penny Messer (Ron); mother-in-law, Patty Cobble Joseph (Ron); father-in-law, Thomas "Tommy" Nalley; uncle, David Gentry (Donna); sisters-in-law, Rachel Ledrick (Rodger) and Emily Payton (Trevor); niece, Molly; nephews, Matthew, Madden and Dallas and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of his service at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to USARK, the United States Association of Reptile Keepers.
