Mr. Chad Ecedra Richardson, age 44, of Galivants Ferry passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, at his residence. Mr. Chad was the youngest son of Mrs. Jeanie S. Richardson and the late Cedar Richardson. Chad was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He was a graduate of Aynor High School, class of 1998 and Nashville Auto Diesel College in 2000. Chad loved being on the Little Pee Dee River with his friends. Mr. Richardson is survived by his daughter: Kyleigh Richardson (Tabitha Via); his mother: Jeanie Richardson; one brother: Eric Richardson, one sister: Shanna Richardson; one nephew: Jude Richardson; and grandmother: Francis Richardson. Chad was predeceased by his father; Cedar Richardson; paternal grandfather: Aurthur P. Richardson; and maternal grandparents: Ann and Gary Stanely. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, March 11, 2025, at the home of Jeanie Richardson from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Rehobeth Baptist Church with Dr. Rusty Brown officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Chad Richardson to Hebron Colony Ministries, 356 Old Turnpike Rd Boone, NC 28607

Jeanne, I am so so sorry for your loss. I know it is tough. I lost Lewis in January and it is not an easy thing. I will not lie and you will never get over it but to lose a 44 year-old child I can´t imagine we will be praying for you. God bless you and hold you close.
