Chadi Aoun Obituary

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the Issam Eugene and Tammy Jo Gable Aoun.
Throughout his life, Chadi pursued knowledge and growth starting in 2012 where he graduated from Eastside High School. He went on to achieve a bachelor's degree in political science from USC Upstate.
A gentle soul at heart, Chadi showed a profound connection with his family, especially his niece, Kylie Elizabeth Aoun, whom he adored. He was known as the best Ammu to Kylie, always present at her side, attending her events, and offering unconditional love and support. His genuine nature made him a friend to all, never failing to brighten the room with his infectious smile. Chadi's impact on those he encountered was immeasurable. He enriched the lives of his family, friends, and all who had the honor of meeting him, through his kindness.
He had a passion for basketball, particularly for Kobe Bryant and the Lakers, and shared his love for the sport with those closest to him. His love for the Lakers was evident by wearing Kobe's jersey that had been given to him, very often. He said he would never get board in Heaven, as he and Kobe would be shooting hoops all the time.
He was member of St. Rafka Maronite Catholic Church.
His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of his loving parents, Sam and Tammy; his little, big sister, Hana Maria Aoun; his adoring niece, Kylie Elizabeth Aoun; paternal grandmother, Berthe Aoun; maternal grandmother, Mildred Gable; aunt, Joanna and Mark Martin; uncles, Anis and Sandra Aoun, and Ziad and Zenia Aoun; and five cousins, Bertha, Ghadi, and Yasmina Aoun, and Matthew and Micah Martin.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clark Gable.
The memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Rafka Maronite Catholic Church.

Tammy, Sam, Hanna, and Sweet Kylie, words fail me now as I think of what I can say to tell you how much you all mean to me. Chadi had that smile that would make you want to give him a hug, always teasing and so loving. He and Hanna were the same age as my grandchildren, and would see them often when in Spartanburg, they grew up together. Tammy you know my deep feelings for you, like another daughter, just wish we were living closer together. You all are in my thoughts and Prayers. I love you all.
