Charles Thomas Brandt, 78, of Royersford, PA, passed away on November 13, 2024 at 6:56 PM, surrounded by family and loved ones to whom he had brought a lifetime of joy.
Born on July 27, 1946 in Norristown, PA, Charlie worked as a mechanical engineer for over 40 years at Rees Industrial and Response Electric. In addition to being a devoted fan of the Eagles and Phillies, Charlie loved to travel. He was most comfortable behind the wheel of his pickup, chasing the horizon with his wife at his side. Together, the two of them visited all 50 states, traveled to Hawaii eight times, and saw Canada, Mexico, and Ireland. He also loved to go to the casino, where he displayed a frankly shocking amount of luck in his winnings, and when at home, he was an avid reader and a regular watcher of Jeopardy! He knew the answer to every question (even when he didn't), and would always play along.
He is survived by Dorothy, his loving wife of 30 unforgettable years, his children, Jack (Stephanie) Brandt, Jennifer (Nick) DeRosato, Heather (Scott) Pasternack, Kristine (Mike) Chau, Gail (James) Geoghan, William (Jennifer) Kozic, Terri Volling, Gary Kozic, Stephen Kozic, and Tracy (Dan) Crowley; his adoring grandchildren Ashley, John, Nick, Noel, Natalie, Zachary, Hunter, Brittany, Matthew, Chelsea, Ashley (Dan), Douglas, Tyler, and Gabriella; great-granddaughter Adrienne, and his sister, Rita. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Marian, and sisters Marie, Eleanor, and Maryann.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Charlie's name to St. Teresa of Calcutta Church, located at 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473.
Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered online at www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
