Charles L. Geiger, 73, of Eden passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at his home. He was born in Fond du Lac on January 24, 1952, the son of Harry and Maru Lou (Schwartz) Geiger. On February 4, 1984, Chuck was united in marriage to Ann M. O’Brien at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eden. He worked for Lakeside Foods at the Eden Canning Factory before retiring.
Chuck was an active member of the Eden Community belonging to the Eden Fire Department and the Eden Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, fixing things, hanging out with friends, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He also bartended at Scuds and was a great Brewers and Packers fan.
Those left behind to cherish Chuck’s memory include his wife Ann, sons Joe (Katie) Geiger and Tim (Brittany) Gieger, grandchildren Emma, Lincoln, and Jensen, sisters Mary Smit and Sandy (Mike Tursky) Surita, sisters-in-law Marianne Geiger and Linda Geiger, mother-in-law Marilyn O’Brien, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Dave and Pam O’Brien, Bill and Kathy O’Brien, Lynn and Pat Brown, and Pat O’Brien, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Mary Lou, brothers Bob and Dave, brother-in-law Roy Smit, father-in-law Pat O’Brien, and sister-in-law Sue O’Brien.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 19th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac.
A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 pm at the Twohig Funeral Home, Fond du Lac with Rev. Mark Jones officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Eden Fire Department or the Eden Lions Club.
The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Heartland Hospice for the care and concern shown Chuck.
