Charles N. Kreuer

Charles N. Kreuer "Chuck", age 77, of Philadelphia PA, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on July 12th, 2023. He was the loving husband of Virginia "Ginny" (nee DiFerdinando), brother of Lawrence, Grace, Joyce, Sue, Margaret, and the late Vincent and Ken. Charles was the devoted father of Donna Gray, Stephen Helvitson Sr., and the late Joseph Helvitson Sr.; loving Pop-pop of Eddie (Angie), Nicole, John, Joey, Stevie, Noah, and Jay; and beloved great grandfather of 9 great-grandchildren.
Charles was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA to his parents Vincent and Mary Kreuer. He was a graduate of Hampton Senior High School; class of 1964. He devoted his career as a Supervisor and Machine Operator for CW Thomas LLC. In his leisure time, Charles enjoyed going on cruises, golfing, and fishing. He was quite the inventor, he loved to create new gadgets. He was always there when his family and friends needed him, even when his assistance came with a free lecture. He was one of the funniest guys around, always lighting up the room. Of all things we can tell you about Charles, he was the most successful person to know, because the goal was always happiness.
Family and friends are invited to attend Charles Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Please join us from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home, 10975 Academy Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154. A funeral service and burial will follow at 1:00 pm at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
