Charles Moore Obituary

A native of Oconee County, SC, Mr. Moore was the son of the late Charles Ray and Helen Velmer Moore. He retired as a Nuclear Valve Technician and was awarded as a Master Mechanic. Mr. Moore was a member of Blue Ridge Masonic Lodge #92, where he was a 40-year life member and attended Golden Corner Church. He was a graduate of the class of 1974 of Walhalla High School.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Moore is survived by his son: Darby Ray Moore (Katie) and granddaughter: Charleigh Jo Moore of Wetumpka, AL; brother: Danny Ray Moore (Deb) of Walhalla; sister; Karen Moore Ihlenfeldt (her late husband: Robert Ihlenfeldt) of Bellingham, Washington.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Golden Corner Church, address is 350 Earle St, Walhalla, SC 29691, with Masonic Rites. Burial will follow at Moore Family Cemetery in Long Creek, SC.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, May 13, 2022, at Davenport Funeral Home.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, Cottingham Hospice House, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672.
The family is at the home: 201 Woodland Drive, Walhalla, SC 29691.
