"Mr. Charlie" will always hold a special place in my heart. We moved to Spartanburg in 1981 and almost immediately made friends with Doodle and Suzy. Throughout the years, it was my pleasure to be able to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Pearson. Both parents set a wonderful, loving example for their children (and thier families) to follow. They were always supportive and caring.

About this time of year two of my favorite things come to mind: Fishing and "Mr. Charlie's" zinnias. I will always remember bouquets of brightly coloroed flowers from his garden.

I thank God for having been touched by the life of Charles M. Pearson.

Hi Doodle,

Haven't seen you in years, but saw your father's obit on-line in the Herald-Journal. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

By the way, I changed my last name several years ago. It is now Hinson.

Love to all,
