Charles Sigg

Charles Sigg, 88, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Ambler, PA passed away on January 7th, 2023 at his home.
Charles was born November 11th, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charles Sigg and the late Mary Casey Nagele and stepson of the late George Nagele.
He was the loving husband of Carol J. (Benzie) Sigg for 62 years. He is survived by his son, Charles "Chip" J. Sigg of Quakertown, PA; his daughter, Cheryl J. Sigg (Paul Caskey) of Schwenksville, PA; three grandchildren, Sara J. Thompson (Christian) of Perkasie, PA, Charles "Charlie" J. Sigg (Sarah) of Ambler, PA, Taylor E. Smith (Thomas "TM") of Exton, PA; his three great-grandchildren – Aiden and Autumn Thompson & Hazel Sigg; and his siblings, James Nagele (Susan), Joseph Nagele (Mary), Bonnie Sigg Bucher (deceased) and Joseph Sigg (deceased).
He was a graduate of Springfield Township High School in Erdenheim, PA class of 1952 and attended Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA. Charles worked as a Human Resources Director for Unisys. After retirement, he did independent consulting. His passion for hunting and archery lead him to open C&C Archery in Bridgeport, PA along with his son. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, sharing meals with his family, and searching for Christmas collectibles. Known lovingly as "Mr. Christmas", he often noted that his door was always open on Christmas Eve, welcoming many friends and family over the years.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and served as a member of the 38th Squadron Air Police. Stationed in Lyon, France, Charles would often share stories of his time training military service dogs and embracing the French culture.
Charles was a member of Branch Valley Fish & Game Club in Perkasie, PA and of the Hatfield American Legion Post 9333. He was an outgoing, happy man who always shared his "pearls of wisdom" with his grandchildren.
