Helen Marie (Morgan) Schwarz, 94, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Lafayette Hill, PA passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Grand View Hospital.
She was the loving wife of the late Ernest Frederick Schwarz III for 42 years. Helen was born in Pittston, PA to the late William Joseph Morgan and the late Helen Marie (Day) Morgan.
She graduated from St. John the Evangelist High School in Pittston PA, class of 1947.
Helen worked as a telephone operator for the former Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Helen was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Hatfield, PA.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
Helen was a hardworking, caring, selfless woman who was very organized.
She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Anne Bernardis & husband, Jeffrey of Skillman, NJ, Susan Marie DiSanto & husband, John of Schwenksville, PA; her 11 grandchildren – Zachary, Jake, Christina, Sarah, Anna, Eric, Gina, John, Michael, Emily, & Julie; and her seven great-grandchildren – Isaac, Asher, Matthew, Emma, Nyla, Mira, & Carmen.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Jean Kreiser; her sister, Anne Petroziello; and her brother, William Joseph Morgan, Jr.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, PA 19440, followed by a memorial mass at 10:00 am.
Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery of West Conshohocken.
