Charles (Charlie) Smith, 63, Seneca, MO, passed away October 18, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO after losing his battle with cancer.
Charles Lindsey Smith was born December 30, 1961 in Texarkana, TX the son of Charles David and Camie Lou (Curtis) Smith. He worked for Gas-N-Snack in Seneca. Charlie loved visiting with family, friends and the costumers at Gas-N-Snack. He enjoyed fishing, wood working and helping others. Charlie was of the Baptist faith.
Charles L. Smith married Roxane Shafer Aug. 7, 1987 in Terrell, TX and she survives also surviving one daughter, Cammie Smith, Seneca, MO; one sister Patricia Smith, Seneca and a host of extend friends and family.
Charlie was preceded in death by siblings Mary White and Louis Lamb and Larry Lamb; and his parents.
The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Seneca, MO.
The family will hold a celebration of life memorial service November 1, 2025 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Council House at the Seneca High School with RodVanGorkom officiating.
The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers and donations. You will never know how much we appreciate them.
