Maryjo, Chuck, Christopher, Joe, Margaret, Kevin, Robert, Barry. I was saddened to hear of Charles passing. A kind, gentle person with such a passion for the law who I remember as a great attorney and member of the community. My thoughts are with you all, and may God hold Charles in the palm of his hand as he is welcomes him into Heaven and comfort you all.

My sincere condolences to the Trombly Family. There are few individuals as interwoven with the judiciary as Judge Trombly was with the Land Court. He will be remembered not only for his remarkable and meaningful half-century of service, but as a mentor and friend to so many. He had a great sense of humor and was a true gentleman.

MaryJo and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. It was a pleasure to work with him at the Land Court! He was beloved and respected by all (co-workers and the real estate bar), and I learned so much from him.
My heartfelt condolences go out to you.

To the Trombly Family
I was so sorry to hear of Charlie´s passing. He gave me my first job in the Court System. I went to work for him in December of 1996. He was a kind man and he was my Mentor. I learned so much from him and I am grateful that he was my first boss. I will always remember the long discussion with him about Pro-Boxing, as he like me was an avid Boxing fan. Thank you for Everything Charlie. May God Bless you. RIP
Very Deepest Sympathy to the family. My Thoughts and Prayers are with you at this sad time.
Sincerely, R. David D´Attilio

I was very happy when I was hired December 1985 by Charlie. and He told me he needed someone Full Time Permanently to work in the Vault to File cases and loose papers and etc. and I excepted the position. This was in the Old courthouse in room 408. Then we all moved to the Edward Brook courthouse. Then we all moved again to a building in North Station on Causeway Street. Then we all moved back to the high rise Suffolk County Courthouse. Where I retired December 2016. and I enjoy my retirement and I am traveling places.
What I want to say to the Trombly Family Charlie was great Recorder and very Friendly and my 3rd year I was there as an employee I Fell on a wet floor and was injured bad ankle. And Charlie was Just like another Father to me and He taken me by cab to the hospital and even he stayed with me in the Emergency Department. till I was Discharged. Then he went back to work.
During the years working I surprised him working after he came back from a vacation. After I Learned about How to Docket Service members cases and other cases on the computer.
I pray Charlie like we all he rest in peace.
And You all Family and Friends keep always Healthy and Safe.
My love to you all, Robert Marcus

Dear Mary Jo and Family:
So very sorry about the passing of Judge Trombly. It was a pleasure to work with him for so many years at the Land Court. First in the Clerk´s Office and then in Judges´ Lobby as his Judicial Secretary when he became a Judge. Took him a while to accept calling him Judge Trombly instead of Charlie because that was the way he was. He was kind, funny and humble. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him! It was an honor, your Honor to have worked with you and for you all these years. Rest in Peace dear Judge.
With Sympathy and Love.
