Graveside services for Charles Ray Wilkes, Sr. is Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 11:00a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment is at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Wilkes, 79 years old, died at his residence on May 6, 2024. He is a retired Shoe Maker and avid fisherman. He was born on July 20, 1944 in Huntingdon to L.Y. and Jessie Gaskins Wilkes.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Sandra Napier Wilkes, two sons Charlie (Jennifer) Wilkes and Justin (Courtney) Wilkes, a sister Barbara Allen, a brother Billy (Deborah) Wilkes and three grandchildren Madison (Brandon) Ezell, Hunter Wilkes and Waylon Wilkes all of McKenzie.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
