Langager– Charlie "Chuck" Curtis Langager, age 66, of Callahan, Florida passed away May 13, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 2, 1957. Chuck loved music. If you ever had the pleasure of hearing him play guitar, his mastery of melody was very apparent. Chuck had a special affinity for the blues. Not only did he play but he also wrote songs and poetry. Chuck's art was not limited to music. He was a master carpenter for the Las Vegas Carpenters Union. His woodworking skills are all over the Las Vegas valley. Chuck's work can be seen in many of the beautiful stages, penthouses, shops, and homes there as well as the Jacksonville area where he spent the remainder of his years. He also enjoyed the outdoors. Chuck was never much of a "people person," he enjoyed the quiet solitude of nature. Those few people who he called friend can say that Chuck's heart and soul were kind and gentle. He goes on now to play his music for the angels, but his memory will live on through his art. Chuck is preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Frehner; father, Charlie Curtis Holmes; and sister, Ronda DeVisser.
Chuck leaves behind his son, Gregory Langager; daughters, Ariel Dampier, Bronte MacFawn; brothers, Phil Langager, Sam Holmes; sister, Tisha Pearson; granddaughters, Emmalei Norton, Ellaina Dampier, Zella MacFawn, Eloise MacFawn; grandsons, Gabriel Bell, Maxx MacFawn, and soon to be grandson, Danon Dampier; lifelong friend, Dee Riley.
