Charlotte Ann Leach went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2025. She was born December 1, 1936, the daughter of the late Donald and Lulu (Fletcher) Rohm.

Charlotte married Gary W. Leach on March 14, 1957. They had two sons, Jeffrey and Michael Leach. Jeffrey has 3 children, Jeffrey Jr., Madeline, and Daniel. Michael and wife Terry has 2 children, Emerson and Lila. Charlotte loved to go see her grandchildren play soccer, football, and ice hockey.

Charlotte graduated from Everett High School, Everett, PA and went to Pierce Business School in Philadelphia, PA. She worked at Barkman Chevrolet, Everett, PA, George Washington University at Fort Knox, KY, and as secretary to Dr. Scott, Director of Vocational Ed. at the University of Pittsburgh, PA, and a short time with Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Her work in KY was while Gary served in the Army, and the University of Pittsburgh while he was in Pharmacy School. She was a homemaker after her children were born.

Charlotte's hobbies were swimming, knitting, gardening, and making latch hook rugs. Charlotte would swim 1 mile and later half mile 3 times a week for probably 25 years while living in Hagerstown. She also swam that much at her previous resident.

Charlotte was an active member of Mt. Nebo UMC, Boonsboro, MD. She went on 2 mission trips to Blue Bird Mission, KY, and Maine, took Bible Study classes, visited those who could not go to church long before the church had a committee, and served on the Nominations Committee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Lulu Rohm; husband Gary W. Leach; grandson Jeffrey R. Leach, Jr.; brothers Dr. Curtis Rohm and wife Helen, and Roger Rohm and wife Nancy. In addition to her sons, she is also survived by her sister, Mary Diehl; nieces, Carla Diehl and Lori Kelsey; and four nephews, Larry, David, Mark, and Brian Rohm.

Special thanks to her neighbors, the Lairds and the Shanks for all their support and friendship. Also, thanks to her church family, she loved you all.

A celebration of life will be held at Mt. Nebo UMC on August 13, 2025, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Robert Ruggieri officiating. There will be a reception immediately following the service. Interment will be held privately with the family at Everett Cemetery in Everett, PA.

For those who wish to make a memorial donation, it may be made in memory of Charlotte Leach to Mt. Nebo UMC Building Fund, 134 South Main Street, Boonsboro, MD 21713.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD.
