Charntell's loving spirit was the cornerstone of her life, and she was deeply devoted to her family, who were her greatest joy. Her compassionate nature was not only confined to her loved ones but extended to all those she interacted with, making her a cherished figure in her community. Her infectious laughter and loving demeanor were a beacon of light to all. Charntell's love for cooking and baking brought friends and family together, creating memories filled with laughter, joy, and her famous cooking. A devoted fan of the Cowboys, she had a knack for turning every football game into a lively gathering of loved ones. Her life journey took her from Hilo to Honolulu, and finally to Las Vegas, sharing her Aloha spirit at every turn.
Charntell's faith was an important part of her life. As a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she embodied the teachings of love and service. A verse that resonated deeply with Charntell was Moroni 7:45: "And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."
Charntell is survived by her beloved husband, John Wells, and her devoted parents, Daniel Jr and Diane Santos. Her legacy of love, compassion, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

I went to Waiakea High and worked with Chantelle back in the 90s. At Robert's Bakery, she'd give us all nicknames associated with donuts or cakes, we called her, "Chantilly." She was a big personality even back than. My favorite shifts was when I worked with her in the evenings at the main bakery. It is nice to know even after all these year's, she still had a huge an impact with those around her. She will be missed by those who knew her, and loved her. My condolences to her o'hana.
