Obituary of Charolyn Gail Linch
Charolyn Gail Linch, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2025.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Southside Church of Christ, 2101 Hemphill Street, Fort Worth, with a visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Fort Worth.
Charolyn was born on November 18, 1939, in Kennett, Missouri, to Opal Charline and Marcus Sexton. A devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Charolyn dedicated her life to her family and her faith. She was a proud member of Southside Church of Christ for over 30 years, where her presence and voice were cherished in the congregation.
She found joy in the simple pleasures-reading, music, and especially singing. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit left a lasting mark on all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Jim Linch; son, Dean Linch; and grandson, Jimmy Charles Linch II, all of Fort Worth. She also leaves behind her brother, Dan F. Sexton of Bells, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Pantry at Southside Church of Christ, a cause close to Charolyn's heart.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
