Cheryl L. Howard

Cheryl L. Howard, age 72 of Addison, New York, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Guthrie Corning Hospital. She was born on February 9, 1952, in Vestal, New York, to George and Rosena (Guiles) Baxter. Cheryl was a 1970 graduate of Vestal High School. She married Arden Howard on August 4, 1973.
Cheryl will be remembered for her devotion to her family and time spent as a Sunday school teacher at St. Catherine of Sienna in Addison, NY. Cheryl will also be remembered as a loving grandmother to her grandson, Nolan.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Arden; children: Jason (Ann) Howard of Addison and Christopher Howard of Addison, grandson: Nolan; brothers: Timothy (Therese) Baxter of Parishville, New York, Fr. Charles Baxter of Canada, and sister Malia (Rob) Bender of Canada; and her best friend Carmen Jones of Vestal, New York, along with many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews (especially the many family and friends from End Valley Farm).
Family and friends are invited to call at Flint Funeral Home, 10 Wall Street, Addison, New York, on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 4:00pm-5:00pm. A brief memorial service will immediately follow with Fr. Patrick Connor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Cheryls name may be sent to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.
