Cheryl L. Neeser, born on October 28, 1953 in
Austin, MN passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 17th, 2024 in
Eagan, MN at the age of 70.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley (Lee) Sargent.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Doug, her children, Joseph, Samuel, Naomi, Abigail, fur baby Atlas, and her brother John Sargent plus numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Cheryl was an amazing woman in the eyes of the many lives she touched. She took great pride in her family, supported them endlessly and loved them unconditionally. Cheryl was always embracing the beauty of this world and life through an abundance of cultures, traveling, and devoting a quarter of her life volunteering through
Special Olympics; always making sure to leave her presence everywhere she traveled and through everyone she met. In both her professional and personal life, she was compassionate, selfless, open-minded, a ray of sunshine, and full of endless love to all. Her humility and inclusiveness were traits people deeply admired. Cheryl was dedicated to making the world a better place than she found it, and inspired those around her to do the same.
She lived life with passion, enthusiasm, and grace. A big part in her doing so, was to make sure to always enjoy the simple pleasures of life; whether that be cuddling every stuffed hedgehog she encountered, catching a Pokemon, having a glass of red wine, making sourdough bread, composting, Starbucks, gardening, or finding a way to turn bad days into good. Whatever it was she was doing, she always did it with a smile on her face.
Cheryl left behind a legacy and a life-time of wisdom that will be carried on through her loved ones, family, and friends who will continue to share the most precious memories made with her. She will be missed by many, but remembered forever.
Per her request, there will be no service held; however, in lieu of flowers, donations can can be made to one of the following organizations in which Cheryl believed in:
