Chester "Randy" Randolph Parker, a beloved figure in his community and an undeniable presence in the hearts of those who knew him, passed away on October 8, 2024, in Kountze, Texas. Born on March 12, 1958, in Rusk, Texas, Randy's life was filled with love, laughter, and profound appreciation for the great outdoors.
He was a devoted brother, father, PawPaw, great grandfather, and friend, whose warmth and kindness radiated through every family gathering. Randy had a special bond with nature, enjoying hunting, fishing, and camping, relishing the precious moments spent outdoors. His passion for these activities was matched only by the love he held for his family.
Randy leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and enduring love. His son, Shay Parker, stands with pride in Kountze, Texas, carrying forth the values Randy instilled in him. His grandson, Tyler Parker, whom he treated as a son, along with his wife Rachel, shares in the profound loss yet celebrates the life they were so fortunate to share. Daughters, Breah Parker and Randi "Missy" Parker, both of Kountze, Texas, reflect on countless joyful memories that will forever echo in their hearts. He also held a special place in his heart for his niece, Chelsea Loftin, of Trinity, Texas, whom he considered as a daughter; brother, Leroy Parker and wife Lori of Kountze, Texas. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended loving friends and family.
Randy's heart swelled with joy at the sight of his great-grandchildren, Cooper Parker of Kountze, Texas, and Atley Loftin of Trinity, Texas. They were lights in his life, and he adored the moments he spent nurturing and guiding them.
Randy is preceded in death by his father, Elbert Parker; his mother, Wanda Murrey; as well as his brothers Gary Parker and Pete Sales. Though he is no longer with us in body, the essence of Randy lives on through the countless lives he touched with his love and compassion.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 between 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Faith and Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at William Hart Cemetery in Kountze, Texas with Pastor Robert Hall officiating.
Honoring Randy as pallbearers are Brandon Parker, Brent Parker, Tyler Parker, Patrick Sales, Grady Sales, and Nick Herridge.
As we remember Randy Parker, let us hold dear the lessons he taught us, the laughter we shared, and the deep bonds of family that bind us forever. His spirit will continue to inspire us, reminding us to cherish the little moments and to love fiercely, just as he did. The world was a better place with Chester in it, and he will be profoundly missed.
