Chris William Horne passed away on October 21, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on June 26, 1944, in Kingston, New York to Charles F. Horne and Faye L. Cook. He married Kathy Gaebler on June 16, 1967. From this union, they had and raised two children, Carolyn and Christopher. He has six grandchildren, Shannon Adams, Casey, Jamie, Evan, and Ryan Horne.
Chris graduated from high school in Frostburg, Maryland. He then attended Kansas State University and the University of Utah. He worked for many years at Hercules, Inc.
Chris is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Faye Horne; brother Charles Horne Jr.; and granddaughter Kaitlyn Adams.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. You may visit with the family prior to service from 1:00 to 1:45 PM.
