Chris Stewart, of Monroe, GA, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024. Chris was an amazing, loving husband, father, and friend. He loved coaching his daughter in softball in her younger years and coaching his son in baseball and basketball. He was always right there on the sidelines cheering for them. He had many different hobbies, like fishing and playing golf. He always loved being on or near water, whether an ocean or a lake. He lived for music. He would sit outside for hours just listening to artists like Zach Bryan and George Strait. He loved his family more than anything, and we loved him the same. Chris was proceeded in death by his mother, Susan Stewart; and his father, Benny Stewart; his grandmother, Grace Dobbs; his grandfather, Donald Dobbs; and his aunt, Carol Dobbs. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Nikkie Stewart; his children, Kenzie Stewart (17), and Jaxson Stewart (10); his brother, Ryan Stewart; and his mother-in-law, Pattie Perry; as well as several aunts and cousins. His visitation will be Monday, September 9, 2024, from 5-8 pm, at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, GA 30052. (770-466-1544). The family requests casual attire (I.E- shorts, pants, golf shirts, something not too fancy). The Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Holdren officiating. The burial will directly follow the service at Corinth Memorial Gardens, 1635 Hwy 81 SW, Loganville, GA 30052. Please sign the online guest registry at www.stewartfh.com.
