Christie Faust Miller, 52, our beloved angel, entered Heaven's Gates on January 11, 2025, at Celebration Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Gone, but never forgotten, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Born in Johnstown, PA, on May 1, 1972, Christie was the daughter of Ward and Marilyn Faust. In 1979, she moved with her family to
Kissimmee, FL, where she grew up and made lasting memories. Christie was a proud graduate of Osceola High School (OHS) in 1991, where she was an active member of the chorus and marching band. It was during these years that she met Thomas Miller, with whom she had a daughter, Brittany.
Christie's dedication to her work and family was evident in everything she did. She earned an Associate's Degree and was licensed as a Phlebotomist and CNA. Throughout her career, she worked as a bakery manager and spent many years in the financial field, always providing for those she loved with passion and commitment.
Her creativity knew no bounds. Christie's love for decorating, especially during Halloween and Christmas, was a family tradition that she cherished deeply. She also had a deep connection with nature, enjoying family vacations to Helen and Dahlonega, GA, and Tennessee. Christie found joy in playing practical jokes, creating fairy gardens, and spending time outdoors-whether fishing, camping, bird-watching or simply being surrounded by the beauty of the world.
An avid hobbyist, Christie was always creating-whether through scrapbooking, wood burning, rock painting, diamond painting, or decorating cakes. She also enjoyed learning new crafts like crocheting and spent countless hours playing games with her family. Her time at the VFW in
Kissimmee, FL, was another special place where she found pleasure and camaraderie.
Christie was also a member of the Kissimmee Rocks group, where she spread positivity with her carefully written messages. Her handwriting was impeccable, a small detail that always left a big impression. As a teenager, Christie was a proud member of The Pony Express Cloggers, dancing alongside her brother, Shawn.
