Christina Scurti Perloff (please scroll down for Benjamin's obituary)
Christina Scurti Perloff, 47, of
Lindenwold, NJ passed away suddenly alongside her husband, Benjamin Perloff, on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
The loving daughter of Joseph and Joyce Scurti, beloved sister to her siblings, Jacquelyn Gates (Wes), Nicole Thilker (Michael), Joseph Scurti (Alexandra), and Stephen Scurti (Cassie Tortu). She is also survived by her nieces Henley and Hannah Gates, Natalie and Annalise Thilker, and her nephew Colby Scurti, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Christina graduated from Edgewood High School in 1995 and received her nursing license in 2002. A dedicated nurse for over two decades, she worked as an LPN for care facilities in the South Jersey area, including Meadow View, Medford Care Center, and Laurel Manor. She was loved by countless patients and coworkers throughout her time practicing nursing.
Christina found her life partner in Benjamin Perloff, and the two married on July 8, 2022. Their shared love of travel took them across the world, creating many memories and adventures that spanned numerous countries throughout Europe and Central America. They detailed their journeys online for all to see and enjoy. Their time together was a testament to their free spirits and love for one another.
An avid concert goer, Christina loved to attend music festivals and see her favorite metal bands. She was most proud of being a loving aunt to her nieces and nephew. Known as the family photographer, she mastered the art of the selfie, and always made sure to capture the most cherished moments together with her family. She especially enjoyed the yearly Daunoras-Rodio Picnic, where she spent time with many extended family members and friends.
Christina's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her. Her career as a nurse touched countless lives, her love for her family was limitless, and her spirit will continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to know her.

Benjamin Perloff
Benjamin Nathan Perloff, 47, passed away suddenly alongside his wife, Christina Scurti Perloff on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. He is survived by his parents Michael and Katherine Perloff and by his sister Sarah and brother Daniel (Sula) and nephew Liam. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Benjamin attended Cherry Hill schools and graduated from Cherry Hill East in 1994. He attended Rutgers University and worked a variety of jobs before joining the staff at Platt Memorial Chapels.
Almost from the time he was born, he had a ready smile and an ability to carry on conversations on innumerable subjects. He read constantly and widely. While in high school he played volleyball on both the school team and USA Volleyball team (and wherever he could find a game). He took up fishing as an adult and was a member of the Barrington Rod and Reel Club for many years. He enjoyed searching out the best "spots" both locally and in Florida.
Travel was another favorite of Ben's both before and after he met Christina. He traveled extensively in Europe and the US. First he traveled on "SIBS" vacations with Sarah and Daniel and then later with Christina.
Ben and Christina planned vacation times to coordinate so that they could average two vacations per year. They visited places in Europe and Central America where Benjamin found Belize to be a special place in his plans for the future.
Ben had such an outgoing personality that he connected with many people he met while traveling with whom he stayed in contact.
Children were people with whom he most connected. Whether he was the "Uncle Unicorn" to Christina's nieces and nephews or "Uncle Ben" to children of his friends, he delighted in his role. We were all looking forward to see his delight in watching his nephew, Liam, grow up.
His death leaves a tremendous emptiness in the hearts of his family and friends and he will not be forgotten.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday, February 19th from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Platt Memorial Chapels, 2001 Berlin Road,
Cherry Hill, NJ where the funeral services will begin at 2:00PM.
