She was born on May 24, 1947, in Buffalo, NY, to the late Harold and Roselyn Probst. Chrissy is most fond of her time as a Nanny in the daycare she ran out of her home.
In her free time, Chrissy enjoyed various hobbies such as fishing, collecting, reading, watching movies with the family, shopping, getting her nails done and crafting. She was once an active member of Grace World Outreach Church, where she found solace and community.
Chrissy will be deeply missed by her daughters, Nicole Eckert, Cassandra Eckert, and Elizabeth Eckert, her sisters Joan Probst, Midge Probst, brother Leslie Probst, her granddaughter Krystal Painter and her husband Joshua Painter, her great-grandson Seth Brown, great-granddaughter Syvannah Taylor and her newest great-grandson Solomon Taylor, 4 months old. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 56 years, Raymond Eckert, her father Harold Probst, mother Roselyn Probst, her 9 month old brother Jeffrey Probst and her granddaughter Christina Elizabeth-born sleeping.
Due to Chrissy’s last wishes, memorial services will be held privately for the immediate family. Chrissy will be remembered for her love for God and her family and friends and also let’s not forget her beautiful smile that lit up the room.
