Christine Galloway, age 85, beloved wife of the late Vance Galloway, passed away on October 28, 2024.

She was born on December 23, 1938 to William and Clara Bell Chappell. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church where she loved volunteering in all areas of the church, especially the nursery. She also loved sewing.

Christine is survived by her sons, Gene Galloway (Ernestine) and Morris Galloway (Sandra); her grandchildren, Tara Mullinax (J.C.), Dana Fowler (Travis), Sarah Galloway, Will Galloway, and Laura Galloway; her great-grandchildren, Andrew, Tyler, and Conner Mullinax, and Katie, Emily, and Matthew Fowler; her brother, Harry "Butch" Chappell; and her sister, Edna Lyda (Rock).

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Frances Chappell, Mary Johnson, and Cecile Oliver, and her brother, Robert Chappell.

A special thank you for the staff at Dominion Senior Living and Hospice of the Upstate for taking great care of her in her time of need.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, Easley, SC.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Enon Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Glenn Taylor. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to Enon Baptist Church at 871 Enon Church Road, Easley, SC 29640.
