Born on January 21, 1938, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Lodge Gregory and Kate Pate Gregory. Christine was gifted with creativity and a love for beauty, which she shared through her work as a floral arranger at Artistic Flowers. She took great joy in her craft, creating arrangements that brought comfort, peace, and happiness to many.
She loved her family most of all, cherishing every moment spent with them. In her quiet time, Christine enjoyed working word puzzles, coloring, and, of course, arranging flowers—one of her greatest joys.
Christine was of the Baptist faith and carried her faith with grace and devotion throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Alton Hardwick; brothers, Earnest Gregory and Lynn Gregory; and sister, Lois Howard.
She is survived by her children, Debra Smith and Brenda Norman and husband Nick; grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Jessica Gay and husband Bobby, Ashley Barham, and Kelli Norman; great grandchildren, Bailey Marie Walls, Remington C. Anderson, Mason Gay, Lylah Anderson, Brodie Sellers, and Ethan Gay; brother, Coy Gregory; sisters, Wylene Flowers and Linda Chambers; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
