Christine Faith Heins, 60, of Hudson, FL and formerly of Blairstown, NJ, passed away on August 14, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Chris, as she was lovingly called, was born on May 10, 1965 in Newton Memorial Hospital, NJ, to the late Carrie Griggs Heins and Frederick Heins. She graduated from North Warren Regional High School in 1983 and went on to graduate from Sussex County Community College and Centenary College.

Chris is survived by her companion Raphael Reeves of Hudson, FL, her (maternal) Aunt Barbara and Uncle Luke Sillett of Blairstown, NJ, (paternal) Aunt Anita and Uncle Ronald Krauth of Montpelier, VT and (paternal) Uncle Dick and Aunt Drucie Heins of Kansas City, KS, as well as her cousins Dan Sillett of Boonton, NJ, Luke Sillett of Blairstown, NJ, Stephanie Bair of Washington Twp., PA, Deborah Krauth of East Windsor, NJ, Grace (Krauth) Messinger of Greensboro, NC, Natalie Heins of North Carolina, Valerie Heins of Missouri, and Alicia Heins of Kansas.

Chris always saw the good in others. She will be fondly remembered for her positive outlook, her friendly, caring nature, and her love of others. She will be missed dearly.

Arrangements are private and are entrusted to Newbaker Funeral Home, Blairstown, NJ.
