Christopher Jon Butler, died June 28, aged 59, in Wichita Kansas after a brief illness.
Born on October 6, 1964, he was the fourth child to George William Butler and Treva Maxine Butler of Coffeyville Kansas. Chris attended Field Kindley High School and the University of Kansas, from which he graduated in 1986 with a degree in Fine Arts, emphasizing painting and sculpture. Chris lived in Wichita, Coffeyville and Fredonia where he continued his interest in drawing and painting.
He is survived by his sister Linda Eaton and her husband Jeff Eaton of Tropic Utah; brother Robb Butler and his wife Carol Butler of Edgewater Maryland; sister-in-law Doris Butler of Denver Colorado and extended family in Denver, Colorado; Birmingham UK; and Yokoshiko Japan. Services and inurnment are private where he will be laid to rest in in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville next to his parents.
