Christopher Caulfield Obituary

Christopher Caulfield, a man whose life was defined by service, generosity, and quiet compassion, passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 65.

Born on March 31, 1960, Chris was an only child who carried the memory and love of his late parents throughout his life. He dedicated two decades to the United States Coast Guard, where he served with honor and integrity before retiring. His commitment to helping others didn't end with his military service-it only deepened.

After retiring from the Coast Guard, Chris pursued higher education at the University of Houston, earning his master's degree in accounting. He later worked for 15 years in the maintenance department at Scott and White Hospital, where his quiet diligence and kind spirit touched many lives.

Chris was a tireless volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, finding joy and purpose in building homes for those in need. He had a heart that beat for others-especially children and families facing hardship. Every Christmas, he would anonymously deliver gifts and meals to underprivileged families, never seeking recognition, only hoping to bring warmth and joy to those who needed it most.

He was a giver by nature, a sweet soul whose legacy will live on in the homes he helped build, the lives he quietly uplifted, and the countless acts of kindness he performed without fanfare.

Christopher Caulfield will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was a testament to selflessness, humility, and love.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his wife, Hollie Baez.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity or a local children's charity in his honor.
