It is with both sadness and warmth in our hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Allen Cole, who left us on April 5, 2025, at the age of 45. Chris was born on April 4, 1980, in
Greenville, South Carolina, and was a devoted son, father, brother, uncle, and friend who brightened the lives of everyone he encountered.
A graduate of J.L. Mann High School and later the University of South Carolina - Upstate, Chris thrived in his career as a Marketing Specialist in the technology hardware industry. He was a longtime and valued employee of both Synnex and Kingston Technology, where he was respected for his dedication, insight, and professionalism.
Chris is survived by his beloved daughters, Chloe and Charlotte, who brought him immeasurable joy. His girls were his world. He also leaves behind his loving parents, Glenn and Katharine "Kathy" Cole; his sister, Lesley Scott; his nieces, MacKenzie and Mattison; and his beloved aunt, Karen Page; and the mother of his daughters, Caroline Baughman Cole. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit and the countless memories they created together. He is also survived by his best buddy and faithful dog, Charlie, who was a constant companion and source of comfort.
Chris had a close-knit group of friends whom he loved deeply. He was always there with a helping hand and a generous heart. His loyalty was fierce, his presence steady, and his loss is felt by all who knew and loved him.
Chris was also a die-hard Georgia Bulldogs fan, never missing a game and always cheering them on with passion and pride.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.
As we remember Chris, let us fill the air with stories, laughter, and love that reflect who he was-a kind-hearted, spirited soul who touched so many lives. We invite everyone who knew and loved him to come together in celebration, honoring his life and the profound impact he had on us all.
