Christopher C. Gallagher, age 41, a resident of Chelmsford, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Christopher had recently returned home to Chelmsford after spending much of his life in Florida and New Hampshire.
He was born in Lowell on March 23, 1984, and was the son of Kathleen D. Boisvert and the late Charles F. Gallagher.
After spending his early childhood in Chelmsford, Lowell, and Nashua, NH, Chris moved to Florida with his mom, where he graduated high school and received a bachelor's degree from Florida Culinary Institute. He went on to a successful career as a chef and kitchen manager.
In 2012, he married his high school sweetheart Dana Ricciardi. After several happy years and an amicable divorce, he united with Joann Nick. In 2019, he and Joann returned to New England and welcomed their cherished daughter Charley May Gallagher. Over the past few years, Chris continued his career in the restaurant business, while also pursuing continuing education through SNHU.
Chris loved cooking, skydiving, shooting at the range and above all, spending time with his daughter.
Chris is survived by his mother Kathleen Boisvert; his daughter Charley May and her mother Joann and siblings Calissa and Cory; his brother David Ward and his wife Michelle Carignan and 2 nephews Luke & Jackson Ward; his brother from another mother Daniel Doherty and his wife Becky Doherty and 2 nephews Caiden & Declan Doherty; his close aunt Anne Gallagher and many other beloved aunts, uncles and cousins from the Gallagher and Boisvert families.
