Christopher Shane (Mosca) Karasek, 52, of Fort Gibson, OK was born August 5, 1971 to Rick Montgomery and Sandra Lott Collins in Oklahoma City, OK and passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 in Fort Gibson, OK.
Mosca was a freight broker, a business that he owned, for 20 years before retiring in 2023. He enjoyed playing guitar and listening to music, especially while trying new recipes on the grill. Mosca spent many evenings playing Call of Duty with his best friends. Traveling and exploring life with the kids and Shayna were his true passion. Mosca was a fantastic photographer, and everyone delighted in his work. Another one of Mosca's loves was to dance on the deck with his dogs and Sunday Fundays with his family was a weekly tradition. Mosca leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion and will be truly missed.
Mosca is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Marie Montgomery, Robert Lott, and Virginia Palmer; his father, Rick Montgomery; and his mother, Sandra Collins.
Those left to cherish Mosca's memory are his partner, Shayna Rice-Mose of Fort Gibson, OK; brothers, Ryan Layne of Charleston, SC and David J. Karasek II of Austin, TX; sister, Jamie E. Conerly of Oklahoma City, OK; nephew, Ethan A. Trammell of Oklahoma City, OK; niece, Kailyn C.
