Christopher Lieggi Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Adams Funeral Home - Woodstown on Jun. 25, 2025.
Christopher R. Lieggi passed away unexpectedly at home on June 17, 2025. Chris recently turned sixty on New Year's Eve 2024; his passing has left his family with broken hearts.
Chris was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Clara, and his brother Eddie. He leaves behind his loving wife of forty years, Bobbie, his daughter Toni, son Christopher Jr., son-in-law Geno, three grandsons, Antonio, Geno, and Lorenzo, as well as his brother, Gary, who resides in Colorado.
Chris was a welder with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers for 35 years. He loved welding and worked hard his whole life, looking forward to retirement. He could proudly say he never turned down overtime and never called off a day from work.
When thinking of Chris, most will think of fishing, hunting, Marlboro Reds, coffee, Ozzy, going to the Range at the Sportsman's Club with his Son and shooting for hours, cleaning and fixing his many guns, and Sunday Dinner where the whole family gathered at his house and anyone who wanted to join was welcomed. He loved fishing, and there was rarely a weekend that didn't include it. He was so proud that he had grandsons, he made sure to spend time with each one of them. He taught them all to fish, and they always came home with lots of fish and funny stories. Chris was a character and always entertaining to anyone he came in contact with. He didn't realize the impact he had on everyone he talked to.
If Chris had a name for you, scared you, or squirted you with the hose, he considered you a friend, and friends were treated like family. Chris was original in every aspect of life and will never be forgotten by the people who loved him.
The family is granting his wishes by not having a service, but urges you to share your memories of Chris, remembering all of the ways he touched your lives. adamsfuneralhome.org
