Christopher loved fishing and hunting, particularly bird hunting with his 3 dogs Annie, Dixie, and Sadie. He loved watching his son play baseball, attended every game and was very proud of his son Christopher, and the man he has become. He also loved to watch his daughter, Gianna cheerlead throughout the years and was very proud to see her graduate from Rutgers in May 0f 2022. He was a devout catholic who loved the Lord and cherished his family. He will be missed by all.
Christopher is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Jane Lombardi; his cherished children, Christopher Lombardi, Jr. (Kate Ruskuski) and Gianna Lombardi; his dear mother Ann (Winnicki) Lombardi and his brother Peter Lombardi. He is predeceased by his father, Alan P. Lombardi.

Det Lombardi helped me through a stalking situation when he was with the Long Hill PD. He was kind, thorough and professional. May his family be consoled and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

I met Chris during a unique time. He gave me assurance as an officer safety would always come first. I will always remember his dedication, devotion and love for his family. I am sure heaven has a field of his dreams to hunt & fish in. Prayers for Jane, Christopher and Gianna.
