Christopher M. Mastrocola of Mahopac, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 26, 2025. He was born in Yonkers, NY on November 29, 1992, the son of Mario Jr. and Joann (Bruno) Mastrocola. Chris graduated from Mahopac High School in 2010 and attended Arizona State University.
Chris was a kind, gifted, and deeply loved young man whose quiet strength, quick wit, and warm heart made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. From a young age, Chris showed exceptional talent as an ice hockey player. His passion for the game was unmatched-he was fast, fearless, and a true team player. Whether on the ice or in life, Chris gave everything he had, and he gave it with heart.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Nicholas and Jonathan, his paternal grandfather, Mario Mastrocola Sr. as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting will be held on Thursday, July 31 from 3-7 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 1 at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac with entombment to follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
