Christopher "Chris" Wayne Miller, 41 of Crestwood, Kentucky peacefully entered God's eternal Kingdom on September 29, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family. Born and raised in Louisville, Chris was a proud graduate of Louisville Male High School. He furthered his education at Bellarmine University, where he earned his bachelor's degree and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Chris was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Crestwood.
Born with Cystic Fibrosis, Chris never let his condition define him or deter his spirit. He dedicated his life to helping others. His wit and humor was unmatched and will never be forgotten. Chris's passion for baseball was more than just a love for the game; it was intertwined with his identity. He took great pride in coaching his daughter's softball teams and meticulously grooming fields.
He is survived by his wife, Kari Miller; three daughters Keightley, Scarlet and Savannah; father Terry Miller of Louisville, KY; aunt, Carye Jo Miller of Crestwood, KY; In laws, Gina (Russ) Wardlaw, and Roy (Jennifer) Amburn. Sister in laws Jama (Ryan) Haggard and Lindsay (Eric) Harden along with many loved nieces and nephew. Chris is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Jeannette Miller of Louisville, KY, and Jean Kaufmann of Louisville, KY.
A celebration of life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville, KY. Burial will follow at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood.
Visitation will be from 10am to 1pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to benefit his children's college education and various financial needs of his family, or donations can be made in Chris' name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
